Our History & Legacy

Founded in the National Institute of Textile Engineering and Research (NITER), a constituent institute of the University of Dhaka, the Department of Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE) established the IPE Society to foster an all-around development ecosystem.

Since inception, the society has grown into a vibrant platform organizing regional seminars, CAD competitions, Lean Six Sigma certifications, supply chain summits, and social impact projects.

To equip students with cutting-edge engineering toolkits, practical manufacturing insights, supply chain expertise, and ethical leadership required to solve complex real-world industrial challenges globally.
